This panel is a pre-1906 San Francisco Earthquake survivor. It was brought to Alpine Stained Glass in extreme disrepair. The lead was old, fatigued and the panel was falling apart. The piece was photographed, a pattern made and the glass was disassembled. The pieces were carefully washed and re-leaded to its original condition. The saddle bars were placed in the same location after careful cleaning and a 2" oak frame constructed to display it in. It is a magnificent religious piece with Bethlehem painted in the heavens, numerous jewels and wonderful symbolism.
