Designed by Julie Pascoe for Alpine Stained Glass, this panel shows motion and life undersea. The well selected glass and undulating lead lines are what really sets this panel apart. For example, take a look at the texture variation in the sea green waters in the top left. By alternating the glass textures while keeping the color the same a subtly undulating effect is achieved. The angle of the swimming turtle and almost rippling water emanating from the top right of the panel give the panel a natural feeling of depth. The ripple suggests that the dolphin is on his way down from having breached the surface for air.
