These figures depicting the Eight Immortals of ancient Taoist mythology were adapted from Chinese folk art to be sandblasted and carved for Kung Fu Fats Restaurant at Cache Creek Casino in Northern California. The panels come in two sizes, 25" x 93 3/4" and 33 3/4" x 68 1/2". The sandblasted carving done to perfection by Jeff Johnson was done on 1/2" laminated glass to allow for passages of dramatic deep relief. Designed by Ernie Orfila. Price $27,928.
