Jewels - Oval Faceted
These jewels are handmade in Europe. In the manufacture of these jewels, glass rods are placed in a furnace. As they become soft on the end, one is withdrawn and squeezed in a special set of pliers, the head of which has the shape of the jewel to be formed. The jewel is then hand polished and the bottom is ground flat.
