I love it, as I have a back TV room decorated in Hawaiian.

Turned out beautiful. I was a little confused about the glass they suggested. If I make it again I think I will make the sky blue and the clouds white and just use a different blue for the water. And wasn't sure what the clear pieces at the bottom of the hill were supposed to represent. But overall easy to work with and makes a showstopper piece.

I am working on my second one of this piece. I took the first piece to class to finish the lead around the outside and everyone fell in love with it. It is my favorite pattern so far.

I LOVE THIS PATTERN. I AM NEW TO STAINED GLASS. I MADE THIS FOR MY SON AND DAUGHTER-IN-LAW AS THEY HONEYMOONED IN KAUAI. THEY LOVE IT. I WILL MAKE IT AGAIN.

I recently made this and had a really hard time figuring out the water situation at the bottom, is it waves? a pool? sand, etc. It turned out ok, but I would love an explanation of what I'm looking at.

I did this pattern and then added some top-laying wire work to make the suggestion of the wave curling at the bottom, and it really made it stand out more as a wave. I also added some wire overlay curlycues onto the white front part of the wave to make it appear like it was roiling, crashing water. Then, continuing with the wire theme, I added some curlies onto the clouds, and crosshatching onto the trunks of the palm trees. It's really simple to do, as you just flux and lead copper wire and then tack it onto your finished piece. It really adds a little something extra, and made a simple project appear top notch!
