Water Lilies are found in fresh, still waters throughout the warm and temperate regions of the world. Their color may be white, pink, yellow, or blue and are sometimes very fragrant. The fragile, temporal beauty of this aquatic flower usually lasts but a brief three days, so preserve it, as did Tiffany, in the artistic medium of a stained glass lampshade. The waterlily for this shade is an adaptation of waterlilies which were used in many original Tiffany shades. This lamp is designed for the novice lamp maker with simple cuts and few deep inside curves; however, the beauty of the lamp shade makes it a pleasure to construct for the more experienced lamp maker.
